The Association for Hanna Somatic Education® endeavors to serve and educate the public in a variety of ways. If you wish to support our efforts and enjoy additional benefits you can join the AHSE. You don't need to be a Hanna Somatic Educator to belong - there are membership options open to the general public, as well as health care professionals and educators of all kinds!

Public Education

AHSE is a not-for-profit public benefit corporation. We are involved with efforts to educate the public, including production of literature and articles, scholarly writing and research, classes and workshops, and promotion and sponsorship of members' and practitioners' educational efforts.

Hanna Somatic Education® Professional Certification

AHSE is involved with the authorized certification training programs in Hanna Somatic Education®, and provides benefits and resources for students-in-training as well as for the general public.

Hanna Somatic Education® Research Committee

The Association facilitates collaboration on research and data gathering about somatics and Hanna Somatic Education®.

The AHSE Annual Conference

Each year, the Association's conference allows attendees to take advantage of continuing education, workshops, movement classes, important association meetings. There's always something for Members, practitioners, colleagues, and the general public alike to benefit from and enjoy.
